Cuba 1962 Retro Away Shirt
The Cuba retro away shirt from 1962 represents the end of a rather curious era for the famously Communist island. Once the first Caribbean nation to play in the World Cup (1938), they then went through a long period of exile from the global game. Matches for the national side were rare, with any taking place being friendlies that usually resulted in heavy losses.
During the 60s however, the national side started to once again become more active. Country leader Fidel Castro famously pulled on the national shirt for a quick kickabout, before the national side decided to take part in the 1966 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Crafted from luxurious materials with a true-to-era fit & feel, the Cuba 1962 away shirt allows you to wear a stunning piece of footballing history while also looking the part! Each shirt comes in its very own presentation box (UK orders only).
